Instructions
-
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, chili flakes, sugar, and black pepper. Once well blended, stir and set away.
-
Two tablespoons of olive oil are heated over a simmer in a skillet. Add the thinly sliced chicken, season with salt, and cook until browned. Take out and place aside in the stove.
-
Add the garlic and ginger, freshly chopped, to the very same skillet. Simmer for 30 seconds or so, or until aromatic.
-
Then, add the green bell pepper and cook for 1 minute, followed by the red bell pepper for another 1 minute.
-
Add the broccoli and stir-fry for 1 minute, then toss in the yellow onion and cook for just 2 seconds to keep its crunch.
-
Return the cooked chicken in a stove along with the veggies. Pour in the prepared teriyaki sauce and stir to coat the ingredients evenly.
-
If you'd like to thicken the sauce, mix a little cornstarch with water and add to the skillet.
-
Add the chopped green onions and stir everything together. Cook for another minute until everything is well combined and heated through.
-
Serve your stir-fried chicken with steamed rice or noodles.
