Description

Baked donuts provide a delicious treat that can be enjoyed with less guilt due to their lower calorie and fat content than fried donuts. They are versatile, easy to make, and can be customized with an array of flavors and toppings. Baked donuts are a convenient and delicious option for any occasion.

Ingredients
  • 320 ml Milk
  • 50 g Whole eggs
  • 30 ml Neutral flavored oil
  • 10 ml Vanilla extract
  • 240 g All-purpose flour
  • 100 g Of sugar
  • 7 g Baking powder
  • 5 g Ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 g Ground nutmeg
  • 2 g Salt
  • Neutral oil, baking spray, or melted butter for brushing
  • 80 g Sugar (for coating)
  • 10 g Ground cinnamon (for coating)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F. Grease donut pans with neutral oil, baking spray, or melted butter. Set them aside

  2. To prepare the classic donut shape, you will need two donut pans

  3. Grease the molds with neutral oil, baking or melted butter. Once finished set it aside

  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the milk, whole eggs, neutral-flavored oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until well mixed

  5. In a separate large mixing bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until well combined

  6. Stirring until thoroughly blended, gradually add the wet components to the dry ingredients. Be careful not to overmix; Just make sure all ingredients are combined

  7. Use a large spoon, pitcher, or piping bag to spoon the batter into the prepared donut pans, filling them about 3/4 full

  8. After filling all the molds, place them in the preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes, or until the donuts are golden and cooked through

  9. While the donuts are baking, prepare the cinnamon sugar topping. In a bowl, mix 80g sugar and 10g ground cinnamon until well combined

  10. After the donuts are cooked, remove them from the oven and immediately transfer them to a wire rack

  11. While the donuts are still hot, coat them generously with the cinnamon-sugar mixture, making sure to cover them completely

  12. Leave the donuts to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy these delicious cinnamon sugar cookies as a delicious treat

Note
  1. These donuts are best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Simply reheat them in the oven before serving if desired.
  2. You may also use a muffin pan or form the batter into circles on a baking sheet if you don't have a donut pan.
  3. Make sure to leave enough space between each circle so they have room to expand as they bake.
  4. This recipe makes 12 muffins.
