Best Mojito Recipe is a classic cocktail that has captured the hearts of many with its refreshing blend of mint, lime, rum and soda originating in Cuba, this drink is a staple in many bars and homes around the world, ensuring that every glass is a refreshing testament to this famous drink.

Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoons Sugar
  • Water
  • 7 tablespoons Dried malva flowers
  • 1/5 cup Water
  • Lemon juice (to taste)
  • Half a lemon
  • 8 Fresh mint leaves
  • 1/5 tablespoons Vento (optional)
  • Ice cubes
  • Soda water (to top up)
Instructions
  1. In a small cup, put a spoonful of sugar. Add water and mix well until the sugar dissolves completely.

  2. Add dried malva flowers and 1/5 cup of water. Leave it for half an hour.

  3. Filter the mixture into another bowl to separate the water from the molokhiya leaves.

  4. Pour the filtered molokhiya water into a mold. Add a little lemon juice until the color turns pink. Place the mold in the refrigerator until it cools.

  5. In a cup, add the juice of half a lemon and 8 mint leaves.

  6. Add the dissolved sugar solution and mash well with a spoon to release the flavors.

  7. Add 1/5 tablespoon of Vento to the mint and lemon mixture.

  8. Add iced pink molokhiya water. Add a handful of ice cubes. Place half a lemon (without seeds) in the cup.

  9. Pour your choice of soda, either lemon soda or sparkling water, into the cup.
