Description

Broccoli and Mushroom Stir-Fry is not only delicious but also a great way to enjoy a variety of vegetables with its simple preparation and bold flavors, it’s bound to become a favorite in your household.

Ingredients
  • 1 piece Broccoli
  • Boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 300 grams Mushrooms sliced
  • 10 grams Butter
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coriander
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 Cloves garlic minced
Instructions
  1. Place one piece of broccoli in a basin and cover with boiling water. In the water, add one teaspoon of salt.

  2. Take ten minutes, cover the basin and leave it alone. This will blanch the broccoli.

  3. Melt two tablespoons of veggie oil in a large frying pan above a boil.

  4. Add the chped onion and fry for about 2 minutes until it starts to become translucent. Stir the chopped mushrooms into the mixture.

  5. Add 10 grams of butter, and continue to sauté for a few more minutes until the mushrooms are tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Combine two tablespoons soy sauce and half a teaspoon seeds from coriander. Toss to incorporate the minced garlic.

  7. Remove the broccoli out the water and add is to a frying pan.

  8. To get the flavors to combine and the broccoli to thoroughly heat, cover the pan and cook for a further five minutes.

  9. Give the sautéed broccoli and mushroom medley cold as a side dish or with rice for a complete dinner.
