  1. Add the chopped chicken slices to the pan with the onions. Stir and cook until the chicken is pink.

  1. Season the chicken and onion mixture with salt, oregano, and black pepper according to your taste.

  1. To the pan, add the crushed tomatoes and tomato sauce. Stir well to combine all ingredients. Simmer the mixture until it starts to turn golden, about one or two minutes.

  1. In a another saucepan, melt the butter over a medium flame. To make a roux, add the flour and mix thoroughly. Simmer the mixture for a minute or two, or until it begins to become golden.
