    Description

    Fried Potatoes with Mushrooms are a beloved dish in many cultures, especially in eastern european cuisine whether prepared the traditional way in a skillet or using the healthier oven-frying method, this dish remains a staple in many households due to its simplicity and rich flavors, including preparation methods, ingredient choices, and health benefits.

    Ingredients
    • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
    • 400 grams Mushrooms chopped
    • 35 grams Butter
    • 1 Bell pepper diced
    • 400 grams Potatoes diced
    • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • A bunch of parsley chopped
    • 2 Cloves of garlic mince
    Instructions
    1. In a frying pan, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium heat.

    2. Add 400g of chopped mushrooms and sauté for 3-5 minutes until they release moisture.

    3. Add 15g of butter and 1 chopped bell pepper. After adding salt and pepper to taste, remove from heat.

    4. In the same or a different frying pan, add the cubed potatoes and cover the pan. Fry for 5 minutes on medium heat.

    5. Uncover the pan and add 1/2 teaspoon paprika and 20g butter. Stir and cover again, frying for another 5 minutes until the potatoes are golden and cooked through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    6. Add the sautéed mushrooms and peppers to the potatoes. Stir in the chopped parsley and 2 cloves of minced garlic.

    7. Cook for 1-2 minutes to let the flavors meld together, then remove from heat.

    8. Serve hot as a side or a main dish, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
