Ingredients
  • 500 grams Pork loin thinly sliced
  • 1 Green pepper sliced
  • 1 Red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 Red onion sliced
  • 250 grams Pineapple cut into chunks
  • Ginger to taste (minced or grated)
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoons Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoons Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • Garlic powder to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper from the Kingdom (black pepper) to taste
  • Lettuce for serving
  • Sunflower oil
  • Olive oil
Instructions
  1. In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, vinegar, ketchup, soy sauce, and water to make the sauce. Set it aside.

  2. Heat some sunflower oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.

  3. Add the sliced pork loin and stir-fry until it's browned and cooked through. After taking the pork out of the pan, set it back.

  4. In the same pan, add a little more sunflower oil if needed. Stir-fry the ginger, garlic powder, red onion, green pepper, and red bell pepper until they start to soften.

  5. Add the pineapple chunks and the cooked pork back into the pan.

  6. Pour the prepared sauce over the pork and vegetables. Stir well to coat everything evenly.

  7. Season with salt, black pepper, and any additional ginger if desired.

  8. Let the stir-fry simmer for a few more minutes until everything is heated through and the flavors have melded together.

  9. For extra depth, drizzle some olive oil on the surface.
