  2. Take each sausage and halve it, leaving one edge intact. This will create a heart shape when secured with a toothpick. Go ahead and secure each sausage with a toothpick in the shape of a heart.

  3. Place the sausages in the heated pan, ensuring they are evenly spaced. Crack one egg into the center of each sausage heart.

  4. Sprinkle some salt over the sausages and eggs, according to your taste preference. This will enhance the flavors.
