Ingredients
Instructions
-
Chop the dark chocolate into small, uniform pieces to ensure even melting
-
In a saucepan, heat the cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer. Do not boil
-
Remove the saucepan from heat and add the chopped chocolate to the hot cream. Give it a minute to soften
-
Once the chocolate has melted fully and the mixture is smooth, stir the cream and chocolate together
-
If you want to add sweetness, you can add sugar at this stage. Stir the sugar in a bowl until it dissolves thoroughly
-
Add the butter to the chocolate mixture and stir until it is well incorporated. The butter adds a rich and glossy finish to the ganache
-
Pour the chocolate mixture into a lined square or rectangular dish, spreading it evenly
-
Allow the chocolate to cool to room temperature and then refrigerate for a few hours or until it becomes firm
-
Once set, remove from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for a few minutes
-
Cut the chocolate into bite-sized squares and enjoy your homemade Nama Chocolate
-
Store any leftovers in the refrigerator to maintain their texture

Note
- Depending on your taste preferences, you can add more or less sugar to change the sweetness.
- Chocolate and heavy whipping cream should be combined in a 1:2 ratio. For this recipe, please do not use white chocolate in place of the chocolate. It is not the same ratio.
- It may happen quickly for a smooth bowl of liquid chocolate to become a lumpy, gritty mess. Make sure the dishes and instruments you use are absolutely dry to avoid this happening.
